Economy

Bill collects some larger pieces of furniture like beds, tables, and chairs in really good condition that can be given to recent immigrants who come to our country with only the shirts on their backs. Household supplies for the kitchen, bedroom & bathroom are always requested. Of course, clothing, especially winter clothing, is a necessity that CT Quest can supply. Basically, anything that you would need to set up a new apartment is what our newest neighbors NEED.

Thanks to the ladies who spend 3 days a week organizing the Warehouse Store, new immigrants can “shop” for items that they can use to create a new home. Being able to choose not only what one needs, but also what one likes adds dignity to a potentially embarrassing situation. CT Quest is only too happy to assist those who have arrived and are making the USA their new home.

Unless you are a native American Indian, our ancestors were all immigrants. Hopefully someone gave them a helping hand when they needed it.

Now it is our turn to return that old favor and offer a helping hand… not a handout.
